The Whatsapp poll feature will help to derive opinions in a fun and quick manner in group chats.
WhatsApp, a messaging app owned by Meta Platforms, is planning on releasing a new valuable feature “poll feature” that will allow users to hold polls in group chats, according to WABetaInfo.
Users will be able to poll their friends’ preferences within a WhatsApp group chat in the future release.
Other Meta platforms, Instagram and Facebook, have similar features where you can make a poll and get feedback from your friends. It’s a really useful function, and one of the most popular among users. Now it’s finally time for it to be released on WhatsApp.
By typing in the bar shown in the screenshot below, a group member can ask a question and create a poll.
However, because the feature is still in development, there is no further information available at this time.
The functionality is intended primarily for group chats, according to the WhatsApp news tracker WABetaInfo, and the answers gathered through polling will be end-to-end encrypted like other WhatsApp chats.
Only the members of the group will be able to see the polls and their results.
WABetaInfo has also recently revealed that the messaging app is planning to release a reaction feature as well, which is also available on Instagram and Facebook. Users will be able to react to messages using the feature.
